New Indie Sony Title: Sideway

Apart from the awesome AAA games we get to play, and a lot of those cookie cutter games. We will always have indie games, taking those risks and chances with something fresh and different.

Now we have Sideway, a new indie title with cooperation with Sony. Its simple yet unique I'll let the video do the talking for me so you can see what I mean.

Awesome New BF3 Alpha Footage

News has been a bit slow, but these new BF3 videos that have surfaced are amazing, enjoy.

PS the fly-by missile sound at 0:43 is amazing.

So far I can tell DICE went all out with the recording of real world guns and missiles and the feel of combat. I personally can not wait for this game.

Also if the video's have been taken down I am sorry, these videos shouldn't even be up :) so enjoy them while they are.

New HDD Arrived And Installed

Finally after waiting for so long for this bad boy to ship to me, it has finally arrived. For those that dont remember why I haven't been active on my blog is that my old hard drive failed and so I had to get a new one.

Well after over a week of waiting, my new Western Digital Caviar Green 2TB HDD is here, wooo try saying that 5 times. I upgraded from a 320GB to this monster of a 2TB, for only $80 such a great price. Also it feels great that i had to do a fresh install of windows, my computer seems to be much faster. Alas though I did lose a lot of data when my other drive failed on me.

My blog will continue starting this Monday, as I will be busy on the weekend, and for the non believers (I dont know why there would even be any) heres a screen cap of my HDD.

1.81TB...close enough

Blog Will Continue Once My 2TB HDD Arrives

I'm posting from my android phone right now, its a lot harder typing since you can easily make a mistake while typing. Thats not even including the hassle with the zooming in and out and the occasional lag input. At least the auto correct comes in handy :-)

I bought a 2TB Western Digital Caviar hard drive for 79.99 on Amazon, seems like the best bang for the buck so why not. Once I save up enough money I will buy two more HDD's so I can have a RAID 0 + 1 drive. I never have done a raid set up but I will research on how to do it.

My HDD should be here by Monday or Tuesday till then, be safe guys.

Wont Be Posting For A While Hard Drive Failure

Im posting this from my friends house. While playing DNF my computer shut off, and apparently my HDD (hard drive) died. Im going to have to buy a replacement. So all my info everything is gone :/

I wont be making the Duke review but I will post someone else's review, I just feel that all that time I put into the game is now lost.

On  a side note hope everyone had a great 4th of July.

US Supreme Court Overturns Ban On Violent Video Games In California

The supreme court has made it against the law to sell M rated games to minors, this is old news by now. What isn't old news is that the supreme court has passed a bill nullifying that law, minors in the California state can now buy M rated games. The reasons this bill passed is due to our 1st amendment rights, freedom of speech.

Hopefully more state legislators pass this bill so that minors can buy M rated games. Only reason I am for this movement is because I myself used to play M rated games when I was a child, I turned out to be fine. I was more mature for my age, I understood the difference between fantasy and reality. parents should also monitor what their child is doing, so that they themselves could grow to be better parents rather then, labels and rating babysit their children.

Here is the more simple 3D Taiwanese  version of all  this hoopla.
